Stark students celebrate the 100th day of school in style with an unforgettable ASL Story Time and a plethora of hands-on activities that ignited a spark of excitement and curiosity! Special reader MSD Elementary Teacher Cherise Santoriello, who ignited a love for learning on this milestone 100th day of school! She read the inspiring book, The 100th Day of School by Angela Shelf Medearis, where students discovered the power of perseverance, creativity, and community by learning 100 spelling words, planting 100 seeds, baking 100 cookies, and doing everything the 100 way! After story time, everyone was all in, fully immersed in the excitement, building marshmallow and toothpick structures using 100 of each, seeing what a lollipop looks like after 100 licks, stacking cups to new heights, making their own unique 100th Day of School crowns, and trying to match the numbers on the bottom of Hershey Kisses to the numbers on the chart. The energy in the room was electric, with students beaming with pride as they showcased their creations and shared their experiences with their peers. The 100th day of school was truly a day to remember, filled with laughter, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime!
