The Speech-Language Pathologist provides a variety of services within the Resource Center, including assessments, consultations, and in-service training. Speech and Language assessments are available to districts that are unable to provide appropriate testing, and guidance is available for districts wishing to conduct their own testing. Consultations regarding hearing loss and the impact on language acquisition, cochlear implants and audition, speech-language, assessment and therapy, and related concerns are available to families, school districts, professionals, and other organizations. Assessments can be administered through spoken English, American Sign Language, or a combination of the two.
