For the 14th consecutive year, MSD campus was transformed into a zombie-infested terrain, where students were divided into two teams to compete in a series of missions. This year's event introduced innovative twists, building upon the concept inspired by the University of Missouri's original event. Students, equipped with flag football belts, navigated through five strategic locations to retrieve essential items while avoiding the relentless pursuit of zombies, comprised of staff members and infected players. The first team to complete all objectives and return to headquarters emerged victorious, earning bragging rights and the coveted title of Zombie Dash Champions. The event's resounding success was evident in the excitement and enthusiasm of the participants, who recounted their experiences with relish, showcasing the event's ability to foster camaraderie and teamwork. The thrill of the chase, the rush of adrenaline, and the sense of accomplishment were palpable as students worked together to overcome obstacles and defeat the undead. The event also provided a unique opportunity for students to develop essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, and leadership, all while having an unforgettable experience.
