Stark Elementary's fourth and fifth-grade classes embarked on an exciting adventure to Columbia, Missouri, where they joined forces with the Missouri River Relief organization! During their fun-filled trip, students had the opportunity to soak up the breathtaking scenery of the majestic Missouri River, which inspired them to create several beautiful watercolor paintings that reflected the river's serene atmosphere. They also delved into the fascinating world of aquatic life, learning about the diverse array of creatures that call the river home. Following their artistic and educational pursuits, the students laced up their hiking boots and set out on a nature hike, exploring the surrounding landscape and taking in the sights. The excitement continued as they boarded a boat and took a leisurely ride along the river, enjoying the gentle rocking motion and the stunning views from a different perspective. To refuel and recharge, the students savored a delicious picnic lunch, relishing the warm sunshine and each other's company. After a day filled with adventure, exploration, and learning, the students returned to MSD, tired but exhilarated by their unforgettable experience with the Missouri River Relief.
