Deaf Visual Arts Festival
The Deaf Visual Arts Festival took place in St. Louis on April 17, 2024, and welcomed MSD high school students to participate in various artistic activities. Hosted by Deaf Inc., the event provided students with the opportunity to collaborate with three deaf artists, engaging in activities such as creating a mosaic, digital animated GIFs, and a canvas painting. Following these hands-on experiences, the artists led a panel discussion, sharing insights into their personal journeys, the challenges they faced, and how they overcame them creatively. This event offered students a unique chance to interact with and learn from successful deaf artists, fostering connections through shared experiences.
