Missouri School Read in Day

The Missouri School Read-in-Day, March 14, 2025, event was a great success, with guest readers Nicolas Wolfe and Amber Carter engaging students by sharing the book There's No Place Like Space! All About Our Solar System by Tish Rabe. This interactive reading session allowed students to learn more about the solar system in an engaging and entertaining manner. Following the group reading, students had the opportunity to engage in silent reading time with their own books, allowing them to immerse themselves in the joy of reading at their own pace.

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for students to take home not just one, but two free books. This not only provided them with new reading material, but also served as an incentive to continue fostering a love for reading. By encouraging and promoting reading through events like the Missouri School Read-in-Day, students are given the opportunity to expand their knowledge, imagination, and creativity through the wonderful world of books. Such initiatives contribute to the development of lifelong readers and learners. Overall, the event served as a fantastic way to celebrate the importance and joy of reading.
