Music in Motion joined others at the Missouri Capital on March 31st for the MOCIL (Missouri Center for Independent Living) rally, an event that brought together individuals and organizations passionate about promoting independence and accessibility for all. With a full agenda of speakers, including advocates, policymakers, and community leaders, MIM was honored to be asked to kick off the rally with a special performance of God Bless America and the National Anthem. For some students, this was their first trip to the capital, and they were able to meet Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger. They provided a performance that will not soon be forgotten. The crowd was mesmerized by their talent, energy, and passion, and it was clear that Music in Motion's message of inclusivity and empowerment resonated deeply with the audience. The students' hard work and dedication paid off. It was a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved, and Music in Motion was thrilled to be a part of it.
