Peach Tree Farms

An article on the Elementary field trip to Peach Tree Farms with photos.

Stark Elementary enjoyed a stunningly sunny fall day at the picturesque Peach Tree Farms in Boonville, MO. The students had an absolute blast feeding the friendly sheep and playful goats, who were jumping and climbing all around them. Getting up close and personal with the a turkey, pigs, a highland cow with its impressive horns, adorable puppies, cute rabbits, chickens, honking geese, and even catfish, was an unforgettable experience for everyone. But that was just the beginning! The students also had the opportunity to pick their own pumpkins right off the vine, choosing from a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. And, of course, no trip would be complete without a few minutes of playtime in the corn crib, where the laughter and smiles were contagious! The staff and students alike enjoyed every single moment of this fantastic field trip, from the tractor ride to the farm to the picnic lunch. They left not only with huge smiles on their faces but also with pumpkins to take home and share with their families, and memories that will last a lifetime.
